Input and Output

Input devices always go together with output devices.

Important factors considered in Input devices:

Accuracy
Completeness
speed of data capture
Reliability
User-friendliness

Environmental applicability
Cost-life of device
Hygiene

Analyzed in order to recommend an Input device:
data capture
who will use
where it will be used

Input devices allows the user to input while output devices will show the effect of the input made by the user. Input and output go together, Input devices cannot work alone properly, it should have its output device for the users to be aware of what happened or the outcome.

IS Development

Stages of information systems development:

Planning
Analysis
Design of the project
Information systems
Implementation
Support and maintenance

Each stage is an important part in the information systems development. Each stage should work and somehow progress by connecting with each other.

Planning

Internal improvement
Internal problem
External mandate
Strategic Decision

Competition exists.
Functional units/Organizational knowledge together with technology is a major part of a business. Organizational knowledge can make a business or company perform better.

Enterprise

An enterprise is commonly a business or venture of any size consisting of several functional units with their respective things or work to do. For an enterprise to be productive, its functional units should perform well and connect or interact with each other.

Strategic Management - Strategic Decisions
Middle Management - tactical Decisions
Operational Management - Operational Decisions
Non- mAnagement employees.

Management Activities

Planning - Objectives.
Organizing - People.
Leading - Instructions.
Controlling - Performance.

Computing Industry

In the business sector, there exists a high demand for computing professionals. Enrollment is decreasing and the quality of computing professional graduates are going down. 1 out of 100 applicants.

Call centers are more aggressive in attracting or hiring graduates, other companies lack advertisements on Print media.

Companies do not advertise, they go to selected institutions for job recruitment.

Lack of jobs.

Only few institutions can provide good quality information and some of the schools can't provide or perform as well as other schools, giving more opportunities to students or graduates that are coming from quality institutions that most of the companies are focused.
